Master Kush is a popular indica cross from two landrace strains from different parts of the Hindu Kush region by the Dutch White Label Seed Company in Amsterdam. The plant produces a subtle earthy, citrus smell with a hint of incense, which is often described as a vintage flavor.

Master Kush is a strain originally named High Rise, which comes from south Amsterdam. This mostly Indica strain gained popularity in coffee shops there as a unique tetraploid strain. Most cannabis strains are diploid. They have two sets of chromosomes, one from each parent in each cell. Tetraploid strains carry four times the number of haploid chromosomes, making eight sets.
The strain has won several awards over the years. It won The Cannabis Cup, known as the Superbowl of pot, twice – once in 1992 and again in 1993. It is also the strain of choice for none other than Snoop Lion (Snoop Dog).

Are your plants Indoor or Outdoor?
All of our plants are grown indoor and some strains in light depravation grow tents. We do not use chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers. We use capsaicin (hot peppers) pesticides and natural fertiliser. All of our plants are grown in a sustainable and organic matter in soil. As compared to other companies in our industry our prices tend to be higher, but that’s a direct result of a higher quality grow process.

What’s the difference between Indica and Sativa?
The main difference between the two types of cannabis is their effect. Indica strains tend to be more of a body high and produce a lethargic feeling in users. Sativa, on the other hand, can help stimulate a consumer who smokes this product. The aroma or scent difference between the two species can exist but it is more of a general rule of thumb than an exact scientific guide to the different species.
